Front-end Developer - Javascript - Angular - React - UI - Contract

FRONT END DEVELOPER WITH STRONG JAVASCRIPT SKILLS required, to work on a project within a major Pharmaceutical company in Switzerland.

The right candidate should have an eye for UI design, autonomy and a pro-active mindset.

The Frontend Lead Engineer will be the main developer of a single page web application, based on angular.js and react.js.

RESPONSIBLITIES INCLUDE:

- UI design and development of the future versions of the application
- Technical support of the existing productive application
- Participation in projects as Front End lead, interaction with business analysts to mock up requirements

At least 3 years of experience on Front End web development.
Link to portfolio of personal projects, or a Github account, would be a plus.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Must have
- Very strong general Front End background (Javascript, HTML, CSS)
- Good sense for UI/UX
- Experience with Angular
- Experience with React
- Good to have
- Git
- Experience with Front End tooling (eg Grunt, NPM, Webpack)
- Basic SQL
- Java/Hibernate

SOFT SKILLS

- Good communication in English
- Self-organizing, work autonomously
- Ability to interact with end users and interpret requirements in business language
- Creativity, pro-actively propose solutions to end users for solving their requirements

Location: Basel - Switzerland
Duration: 6 months (evtl. option for extension)
