FRONT END DEVELOPER

ONE OF MY LEADING TECH CLIENTS IN AMSTERDAM IS URGENTLY SEEKING A FRONT END DEVELOPER FOR A LONG TERM CONTRACT PAYING EXCELLENT RATES.

INTERVIEWS TAKING PLACE IMMEDIATELY!

FRONT END DEVELOPER WILL IDEALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

- A completed training at least at HBO level;
- At least 4 years working experience with JavaScript development, unit testing and functional testing;
- At least 2 years' experience with CSS, HTML and JavaScript within a large complex organization;
- Experience with Front End frameworks, Front End continuous delivery, Node.js, Grunt, Bower;
- Experience with CSS pre-processor and CSS frameworks such as BEM, smacss and Atomic Design;
- Preferably with experience of developing style guides and component libraries;
- Preferably experience working in DevOps teams using the Agile/Scrum methodology;
- Preferably in possession of a Scrum Master degree;
- Preferably experience in developing web components;
- Also you master the Dutch and English verbal and written.

FRONT END DEVELOPER RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- The Design, development and/or adaptation of reusable components;
- The Analysis of the demand/need of the 'customer' and translate this question to the appropriate functionality;
- The Testing of components in different browsers, channels and devices;
- The Support and answering questions from the buyers of our component library;
- The Promotion of best practices and standards in the development of software;
- You play a crucial role in designing, coding, configuration and assembly of components and in our writing and performing of the functional, integration and production testing. Here you will work directly with the other engineers on your DevOps team and work closely with the department UX.
