Front End Developer

Our client is a multinational consulting firm providing business and strategy solutions, application development, maintenance, and outsourcing services. Established in 1996, their company averaged 20% annual growth in revenues, and it became part of NTT Data in January, 2014.

They are looking for high-achieving team players that are quickly adaptable to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. They are currently seeking a Front End Developer for their location in Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities:

As a developer his/her main responsibilities will be as follows:

- Coding and integrated testing
- Autonomy as he/she will be working with little supervision
- Analysis and design of processes into smaller pieces
- The candidate will interact with the client, so good communication skills are needed

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree or higher in the discipline of technology and/or business
- Technical and leadership skills required
- Expert level skills or 2+ years' experience in the following areas:
- Three or more of the following frameworks: JQuery, Node.js, Handlebars, AJAX
- Two or more of the following development tools: NPM, Gulp, Maven, Eclipse
- Languages: JavaScript, HTML 5, CSS
- Application Servers: WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat, Node.js
- Others (not required): Moustache, Angular, Backbone, REST, Spring MVC/Web Flow
- Methodology: Agile and/or Waterfall
- Excellent communication skills and ability to demonstrate autonomy as the ideal candidate will be interacting with the client and working with very little supervision
- Test driven development experience in projects, involving test cases design and development, execution and follow up until issue solving
