Front End Developer

My Ghent based Client is urgently seeking a FRONT END DEVELOPER for a 3 months contract with extension .

You will be contributing to documentation (instructional, pitch and technical specifications) You will be responsible for delivering clear, well communicated and complete design documents and developing exemplary and thoroughly tested code for the most challenging aspects of the product and product sub systems.

THE FRONT END DEVELOPER MUST HAVE :- Coding Skills:

Experience in  D3.js is essential 

Excellent HTML, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript programming skills

Coding valid XHTML and CSS mark-up

Developing cross-browser and cross-platform compatible solutions

JQuery, backbone, handlebars, modernizr, requirejs, sass, underscore, grunt, node, python

Knowledge of working with JavaScript frameworks to create rich interactive content

Experience integrating with Server Side code to produce dynamic pages

Excitement about emerging web technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3

Good understanding of Web Accessibility

Experience in modular UI programming for UI customizations & extensibility

Experience in using REST, JSON and AJAX

Experience in using Linux based OS systems as development and hosting environment

Contract :- Interview: ASAP

Start Date: Monday 24th February 2014

Contract length: 3 months
