My client is a multi-million award winning gaming franchise. They are looking for a highly talented Web Developer with a passion for creating highly interactive and polished web experiences to join their world-class development team in the North West.

They are now embarking on exciting new concepts that will push user experience, creativity, technology and productivity to incredible new heights.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply web design to AAA interactive entertainment and shape the future of game interface design!

The role entails:
* Designing, developing, documenting, testing and maintaining high quality interactive game user interface using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

Candidates must exhibit:
* A great portfolio that spans at least 3 years of web development and includes examples of large scale, dynamic, polished web user experiences.
* Passion and aptitude for timely delivery of highly polished and usable interactive web experiences.
* Proficiency in HTML5.
* Excellent knowledge of CSS3 including transitions and animations.
* Practical experience of JavaScript including jQuery and Ajax.
* Aptitude for producing high quality markup and code.
* Familiarity with responsive web design.
* A thirst for knowledge, proactively seeking and applying cutting edge technologies and practices.
* A desire to apply web technologies to videogame development.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Highly developed organisational skills including the ability to decompose, estimate and prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.

Candidates will also benefit from practical experience of:
* Minification techniques.
* Unit testing.
* Using web analytics to inform and refine design decisions.
* Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Lean.
