Front End Designer/Developer

Web Developer / Designer required for a three month Contract in the West End of Edinburgh. Your new company This highly regarded national charity provides essential services to some of societys most vulnerable and in need. Headquarter in Edinburgh city centre, they employ more than 3000 staff and volunteers within a national network of shops and centres. Due to a continued expansion of the Digital Team , an experienced and passionate Front End Web Designer is needed to join the Edinburgh team. Your new role Working as part of a team of 5, including backend, content and SEO specialists, you will report directly to the Digital Services Manager. You will be directly responsible for the continued design and development of the organisations web sites and on-line campaigns. What youll need to succeed You will have a track record of being in a hands on front end design role and have a passion and flair for creating a high quality user experience. As well as the technical skills needed (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript), you will be an excellent communicator with a persistence to get the job completed to the highest standard. You will have significant experience and a strong understanding of best practices within web and mobile design/development. What youll get in return You will be offered a three month contract with flexible working hours, core hours are between 10-2 and 2-4.
