Front End Architect

A Front End Architect is required for a long-term, lucrative contract assignment with a market leading client based in Brussels.

The Front End Architect will ideally have 70%+ of the following skills and experience:
* Proven experience with architecture design and implementation of Front End applications: technologies, frameworks, apps, devices, browsers, Front End integration, responsive design, user experience
* Proven experience of designing solutions that conform with non-functional requirements (availability, performance, scalability, security, disaster recovery, Real Time, low latency, etc).
* Conceptual and analytical thinking, architecture creation, solution design, agile development
* Understanding design & implementation of Back End applications on open systems: Java, frameworks, databases, big data, SOA, BPM, event-driven, integration, cloud, distributed applications
* Eligible to work in Belgium
* English speaker as well as Dutch and/or French

The Front End Architect will be responsible for activities including -
* Manage the technical architecture of the application landscape, with focus on Front End architecture.
* Assist in the elaboration of architecture blueprints and solution architectures, in collaboration with technical, functional, integration and infrastructure architects and delivery teams.
* Support projects in their realization (RFP, POC, design, implementation) in line with the overall architecture.
* Follow the technical evolutions, share knowledge, identify opportunities to improve the overall architecture.
