Front-end/API/Software Developer/Engineer/PHP/Laravel

FRONT END/WEB APPLICATION/SOFTWARE DEVELOPER/ENGINEER/PHP, LARAVEL, ANGULAR5+, TYPESCRIPT, CSS, SQL, CI/CD, API

We are looking for a web application developer, who is strong around Front End technologies (in particular Angular5+) and has extensive knowledge of the PHP framework Laravel. You will take part in a Front End focussed DevOps team, where you take full responsibility of your features: building, testing and running it. Work entails expanding existing microservices.

We're looking for candidates who don't hold back and will push for solutions, are passionate about technology and have considerable experience in web application development. She or he must have a track record of building maintainable, scalable, and performant web applications while taking into account an easy to use high quality user experience. You dare to challenge and are open in your communication towards your own team and other stakeholders.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Extensive knowledge of PHP and Laravel
Experience in building/maintaining (REST, JSON) API's
Practical experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks like Angular or React
Experience with developing applications using JavaScript ES5, ES6 and TypeScript
Experience setting up CSS with a CSS preprocessor like SASS/LESS
Familiar with task runners, pre-processors, build tools, e2e testing, unit tests (BDD)
A deep understanding of HTTP, REST, JSON, and modern HTML5/CSS3 web technologies
Working knowledge of source control software Git.

NICE-TO-HAVES

Experience with Windows Server (Administration), IIS and Microsoft SQL Server
Experience in defining CI build processes (Jenkins, Azure Cloud)
A drive to implement best practices for high quality software
Experience with corporate Intranet
Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
Knowledge of GDPR and other regulations

EDUCATION

Equivalent of a BA or BSc in Computer Science degree
Or 5+ years of development experience
