Responsibilities
- Provide support for Proficy MES Platform including Proficy Plant Apps, Proficy Work flow, Proficy SOA, Proficy Historian, Proficy MES360, Cimplicity, OPC Servers.
- Modify MES Proficy technical design, developments, and implementations and make changes as required.
- Worked on MES support projects and well versed understanding on Incident management activities
- Should be experienced to carry out MES implementation/rollouts and production migration activities
- Provide beeper support
- To oversee day to day relationships with the client and identify additional ways to help operations.
- To build strong relations with operations and process teams and develop business insights to deliver practical solutions
- Responsible for ensuring those Delivery commitments are made on-time, and budget
- Facilitate the identification of program risks and to ensure that such risks are managed
- Act as a Single Point coordinator between the process, operations, and business teams.
- To understand objectives and define the structure and content of the program necessary to implement the program strategy
- Ensure all assigned program are properly planned, organized, directed and monitored to meet internal customer requirements, budgeted cost and agreed timescales within practical constraints
- Propose and develop add-on project/program opportunities- develop required domain knowledge towards process understanding.
- Responsible for knowledge management, documentations within plant and across the organization

- Experience in Proficy Plant Apps (Efficiency, Quality, Production, Batch and SDK)
- Experience in Proficy Work Flow (and Proficy Service Oriented Architecture)
- Experience in Proficy MES260
- Experience in Proficy Cimplicity
- Experience in Proficy Portal
- Experience in other Proficy MES components
- Experience in Proficy Historian and OPC communication with Proficy HMI required
- Understanding and hands on with Databases (SQL Server Database) and Data Structures, Store procedures and Knowledge of Proficy Plant Apps database.
- Experience with using and developing scripts using C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET - Familiarity with the .NET Environment.
- Experience with Report customization - Crystal Reports and PDF.
- Worked on various MES implementation and support projects
- Quick Learner- ability to coach and mentor teams to work together to a common goal.
- Good analytical and reasoning skills.
- Strong communication (including report-writing) and interpersonal skills
- A well developed approach to problem solving and decision making
- Outstanding client, people management and coaching skills

Experience
- 6-8 Years relevant experience in implementing and rolling out complex MES programs using Proficy MES Packages as listed below.
- MES Proficy Plant Apps certification, hands on experience - Necessary.
- MES Proficy Workflow hands on experience - Necessary.
- MES Proficy MES260 hands on experience - Necessary.
- MES Proficy Portal hands on experience - desirable.
- Proficy Historian hands on experience - Necessary.
- SQL Server experience - desirable.
- dot net experience - desirable.
- Proficy Cimplicity HMI knowledge - Necessary.
- Control Systems - desirable.
