French Speaking Technical SAP Architect

Proteus Europe is searching for a French Speaking Technical SAP Architect for our client based in Brussels, Belgium

Our client is an international consultancy with a reputation for delivering on projects with their consultancy customers. You will join and be part of their team to ensure this current project is a complete success.

Your New role:- The role of the architect is to design, define and document the technical architecture. In a project team working, he/she works closely with the project manager. The architect is responsible for the technical solution.

In more detail, the architect:

-an analysis of the needs and see the feasibility
-defines and designs solutions architecture that meets the needs of trades, which are aligned to the policies and standards of security and governance group, which are in line with standards of architecture and that take into account operational constraints
-work closely with the various experts: middle ware, security, editors, for finding solutions to problems of architecture, or the upgrade of existing architectures or their migration to any other technical bases
-keep the transverse view and is a facilitator for the Group of experts during the construction and implementation of the solution
-valid solution implementation
-assists the pipes and teams operations in the phases of deployment of technical solutions

The architect may have to manage several projects simultaneously involving various trades, operators, integrators and expert teams.

The claimant will have to work cooperatively with other families of Engie-IT services but also with the entities IF trades courses.

Description of the mission

Architecture design during the phases of design and implementation of projects:

Update, write or validate files architecture technical of all applications made under the responsibility of the heads of projects of Engie, integrating software packages or specific developments.
-Supporting technical architectures records before validation committees.
-Assist the project leader on all the technologies implemented.
-Skills transversal in the field of technical architecture are prerequisite: concepts of accommodation, inter-applicative connectivity and inter-SI, security, identity and access management, systems Windows OS, Unix, Linux, virtualization solutions (ESX, Cloud, etc.), storage, backup, archiving, systems GOL, database management systems, product Middleware such as SAP, Oracle, Citrix, IIS, concepts of interfaces with FTP (s), SFTP protocols, HTTP (s), AS2, SOAP, etc.
-Ensure respect for the rules of IT governance on the perimeter of the applications assigned to him.

Comparative studies of application and technical solutions in the form of scenarios of architectures:
Management of technical projects to build the technical architecture.
-It is as well to architecture studies, and evaluate solutions to the technical plan (performance, security, availability, integrity, traceability, compliance to the repository) and at the economic level in order to ensure performance, operability and maintainability of applications.
-In addition, the claimant will lead to impact studies, for the projects concerned, of any new solution, on the architecture and to ensure the coherence of technical choices in order to control costs and optimization of the if.
-Seek solutions of accommodation IF intra or extra SO ensuring in the latter case the solution in line with safety rules (the authentication management, propagation of identity, etc.) and inter-connecting application.

Capitalization and modelling of the group defined in the repository IF architectures:
Update the data set of architecture modeled with the tool of modelling group in the development of the repository SO. This task of funding will be made for each of the projects handled. This lot is optional in the sense that the rules of modelling are not applicable so far. These actions will be activated during the period of the present mission.

Your Skills and experience:-

Essential Skills:- Knowledge of the technologies in the following areas of architecture:

The concepts and technical architectures for many of the products listed below:

- SAP ERP
- SAP HANA
- S4HANA
- SAP BI
- Cloud (private/public)

o a desirable knowledge/experience:
-Product Middleware such as Citrix, IIS, the concepts of interfaces with FTP (s), LFC, HTTP (s) protocols.

o would be a plus:
-Experience in the energy sector.

It is specifically expected:

- cross-functional knowledge of the corresponding expertise capable of doing studies of impacts of technical and economic performance of these solutions, Council, writing standards, in addition to being of the technical experts of the solutions.

o mastery of the English language (writing of documents, presentations, meetings,...).
- methods of architecture and technical risk analysis and trades.
- mastery of the techniques of studies, diagnoses and audits.
- rigor, taste Council and contacts, listening skills.

o autonomy and taste of team work.
- knowledge of the industrialization of the production (methodology, process) to the future transition into production.
- a scrupulous respect for the procedures implemented (process, documentation, reporting,...)

Methodological skills

-Knowledge of methodologies infrastructure (TOGAF, Archimate,...)
-control of a tool for modelling of the infrastructure (MEGA, ARIS, iServer...)

Deliverables expected

-Studying architecture.
-The production of documentation according to the Engie models (studies, architecture, Notes of framing, Blueprint, files...)
-Feedback (presentations, specification documents,...).
-Presentations to the project manager, to the architecture Committee, and the validation of Engie-IT Committee and/or the head of the Department.
-A regular and predetermined deadlines presentation of the progress of the activities, the quality of the work and the achievement of expected results.
-Application and technical maps via the tool group modelling.
-Propose ways to optimize the infrastructure by improving the quality of service in collaboration with the IT Operations Manager, in order to ensure that agreed in technical SLAS service level will be provided at an optimal cost.
-Perform on a regular basis a report of its activities to Engie-IT management
