French and Dutch Speaking PC Support

Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch and French speaking 2nd line Support Engineer for a 6 month contract in Brussels.

Your New role:-

As 2nd line endpoint Support Engineer you are part of the support team within the organisation. You will be called in for end user support on ,000 NMBS end-user computing devices (Desktop, Laptops, Printers, Industrial and Mobile devices ...).

Responsibilities:
o You are the point of contact for service desk with regard to hardware and software problems on, among other things, desktops, laptops, printers, industrial and mobile devices
o Build and maintain the necessary documentation
o Escalating problems to 3rd line
o Perform daily operational tasks
o Printer installations on print Servers and maintenance
o Occurs between on sites and in the various agencies for every incident that can not be resolved remotely
o Provide assistance and service to the local IT assistants

Your Skills and Qualifications:-

Essential Skills:-
o Preferably bachelor in computer science or equivalent through experience
o You have a good knowledge of ITIL and ticketing tools
o You have at least 2 years of experience as a 2nd line Support Engineer
o You have a thorough operational knowledge of:
o operating systems (Windows XP, 7, 10, Windows server 2008, 2012) and MS Office
o end user hardware (PCs, printers, smartphones, tablets, ...)
o Active Directory
o networking
o print management
o Powershell Scripting, VBS and/or command line Scripting is a plus
o You take initiative and work in a service-oriented manner
o You are a team player but can also work independently.
o You are customer friendly and have good communication skills in Dutch and French, English is a plus
o Performance-oriented attitude: achieves the goals set by the team leader and shows willingness to surpass them
o You report incidents and problems timely and correctly and make proposals for possible solutions
o You take timely and respectful escalations
o You are prepared to keep training constantl
