Freight Approval Technician Job

FREIGHT APPROVAL TECHNICIAN needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in KNOXVILLE, TN.

- Transportation or Freight payment environment background

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING:

- In approving these invoices freight technicians will interact with customers, carriers, Customer Service, distribution centers, Transportation Operations Planning, and Accounts Payable.
- Team members are involved in computer based freight audit using multiple computer systems, including SAP.
- They are also charged with identifying cost savings opportunities within the Freight Approval process and expected to provide feedback that can contribute to continuous improvement of the work they are executing.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High school diploma or equivalent GED
- At least three (3) years relevant experience
- Ability to function a team setting and a fast-paced environment.
- Strong general PC skills.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy for data entry.
