Freelance Site Engineer (Kent)

Eden Brown are working with one of Northern Ireland's leading contractors who require a Site Engineer for a newbuild hotel and apartment conversion in the Kent area.

Initially for 10 to 15 weeks between the two jobs, duties will include temporary works and setting out, QA and paperwork. The site is piled and would ideally need an engineer who has experience working on similar projects.

Ideally, candidates would have the minimum of 4 years site experience and be capable of being the only Engineer on Site, reporting directly to the Project Manager.

You will be responsible for setting out, QA and paperwork

Candidate Requirements:

Capable of working on your own and with minimal supervision
Minimum of 3-4 years working on construction projects in the UK over the last few years
A construction related qualification, ideally a degree but not essential as candidates with good experience and skills will also be considered
Must be CSCS carded
Must have excellent communication skills
Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
Self motivated and able to provide accurate and concise information to the site workforce when requested

Own kit is preferred (but can be supplied by client) and recent references are essential.
