My client is an international financial institution and is focussed on the B2B sector. In Belgium they are located in Brussels, a 10 minute walk from the train station.
Their procurement department is looking for a freelance infrastructure procurement manager to contribute to a more effective spend management.
This company is a very important end-client of Target.
Job description
As a freelance catogory manageryour main objectives are to:
- Implement a procurement strategy for all products, services and works within your spend categories.
- Manage categories of spend through a network of suppliers in order to ensure business and strategic objectives are met.
You align sourcing strategies with changing business needs by challenging internal demand of the stakeholders to external supply markets and you implement saving levers related to your category.
You share expertise and apply best business and procurement practices. You assemble and analyze all relevant information into an innovative business concept.
Profile
- 10 years of experience in Procurement.
- Solid knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure: including both hardware & system software.
- You understand the concepts of SPM and SRA.
- You have clear understanding of the whole lifecycle of software management.
- You are fluent in English. Dutch and/or French is an asset.
Offer
