Based at the Project HQ in Eastbourne, near to Bexhill-On-Sea on the South Coast where over 1500 staff are employed, we are currently seeking a Freelance Digital Services Manager to join the team on a day rate basis.

PURPOSE

Responsible for delivering the Digital Services workstream within the Programme across both the Broker, Insurer and Claims areas.

DIMENSIONS

Size of Function/Team (if applicable):
None formally, but active member of a collaborative team spanning Policy and Claims Administration, IT and programme functions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for ensuring the programme delivers the elements in scope aligned to the Digital Services Roadmap.
Leading a change programme involving key stakeholders from across the business to deliver against the Project scope and overall strategic direction.
Contributing to the building of new capability which delivers the digital service growth plans and drives cost reduction via channel shift and changing consumer behavior
Responsible for the alignment of programme governance between key stakeholder groups to ensure customer propositions delivered effectively and with planned benefits
Working closely with senior stakeholders across operations, IT, project management, claims and compliance to influence decision making and engender support for the digital agenda
Ensuring that the Business requirements collected within both the Broker/Insurer and Claims projects are delivered over time with an appropriately agreed prioritization.
Responsible for the effective identification, management and reporting of risk within your area of responsibility.
Ensure there is appropriate debate, discussion and challenge of risks within your area of responsibility.
Enhance the risk management culture within Marketing for the effective identification, management and reporting of risk within your area of responsibility.
Proactively assist towards project success and ensuring the Hastings values and brands are reflected in all Customer touch points be they printed, email, mobile, self service etc supported by the Digital Services channel.
Assist Head of Digital Services in managing and prioritising deliverables
Be responsible for working with technical stakeholders on any logic models for the production of dynamic and non-standard content
Use cross functional resources (eg Copywriting, Compliance) to ensure Tone of Voice, Brand, Compliance etc are appropriately and accurately incorporated in the Digital Services channel
Introduce new processes within the company to maintain the Digital Services deliverables after project completion.
Ensure completion of all training as mandated by the company and regulated by the FCA.

* Experience of project management

QUALIFICATIONS

* Mathematics and English GCSE A*-C
* Degree or equivalent in related discipline is desirable
* A formal qualification in project management would be advantageous
