Freelance Designer

We are currently on the lookout for fantastic freelance designers with at least 4 years industry experience to fill a variety of roles across the Northwest. Successful candidates will be able to show a distinctive style ideally representing your thought process and personality through your work.

Desired Skills:

At least 4 years design experience.
Exceptional design skills.
Artworking skills.
Flexibility and availability.
A strong portfolio of best and most recent work.

Rate banding

If you are set up as a limited company or if you are a sole trader who would be paid through our PAYE payment structure.

Freelancers set up as a limited company would be looking at between £20-£25 per hour.

Freelancers being paid through our PAYE payment structure would be looking at £15-£20 per hour plus statutory holiday pay.

For those of you thinking of applying who don't really know the advantages of working as a freelancer through an agency like Orchard I would like to mention a couple of key points.

For every booking you do through Orchard, you will be paid the week following the assignment. Another great advantage is that we carry the burden when it comes to collecting payment from the client and you get paid even if we don't.
