FREELANCE DATA MODELER

CONTEXT
The candidate will work at the IT unit of our client, in the Information Systems team within the Project as a Data Modeller.

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
Tasks (Applied to the role of Data Modeller)
•In the context of the project, interact with the customer, elicit requirements, and elaborate the business model, which is a common denominator of social security topics, between all participant countries.
•Participate in workshops with the customer, driving for outcomes matching the vision for a solution.
•Provision of expert advice and assistance on technology matters, evaluations, architectural considerations, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in a specific area of Data Modelling, with a special focus on XML technologies.
•Elaborate software solutions for the dynamic business model, as part of the software architecture group. Construct solutions for designing the Multilanguage dynamic model, maintaining and generating it as a runtime artefact.
•Support solutions with papers and presentation for the customer, (for technical but also non- technical audience) making the case for the made choices. Oral and written communication skills are critical.
•Elaboration of functional and non-functional requirements and business case analysis related to the area of expertise (Data Modelling, dynamic EESSI Model, data validations, flow related solutions)
•Risk analysis input.
•Review of Information Systems Infrastructure Architectures with focus on Dynamic Model, on database, parallelism, etc.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Technical skills
•Proven hands on experience with data modelling using XML technologies:
•identifying the business needs related to data model
•designing and developing of data model (end to end)
•Proven hands-on experience in designing and developing business process models using BPMN 2.0 annotation
•Excellent communicator - draft papers, presentations with technical complex topics, make a case for a technical solution in front of non- technical audience.
•Excellent UML knowledge, skills, experience
•Ability to elaborate specification and design (and documenting) with respect dynamic model
• Experience in data modeling, database oriented but most importantly XML oriented, systems integration oriented, and associated technologies
•Capable to design system solutions, in the area of data handling, data business transactions, etc
•Ability to interact with remote acceptance-testing teams, understanding problems and correcting them
•In depth knowledge of information security systems infrastructure matters
•Good knowledge of Java technology and development methodologies
•Excellent knowledge of service oriented architecture and design of Internet applications, and related security concerns
•Proven experience with quality procedures
•Strong experience in ICT consulting and the realisation of ICT studies (aptitude to write clear and structured technical documents)
•Strong experience in the ICT security domain, related to data confidentiality

Language skills
•Excellent oral and written skills in English and French are essential
•Knowledge of other EU languages is an asset
