Fraud Systems Analyst

Exciting organisation in the payments industry are currently recruiting for a Fraud Systems Analyst. The role will involve creating and optimising robust fraud detection models and rules, based on an understanding of the fraud business requirements.
This is a challenging role that requires a motivated individual with excellent data and statistical analysis skills.
The jobholder is also expected to be an excellent communicator and to have the ability to co-ordinate work between Operational and Technology teams.

Responsibilities:

Act as technical liaison for the Fraud Team.
Understand ongoing fraud business requirements.
Assist in the analysis of fraud trends and significant fraud events.
Get UAT sign off on fraud projects and alerts from Fraud Managers.
Resolve alerting issues/requests raised by the Fraud Team.
Assist the Fraud Team with ad hoc data and statistical analysis.
Drive fraud project work
Liaise with 3rd Party Vendors and Technology Teams to:

Essential:

Good technical knowledge and 2+ years experience, with an object oriented programming language (ie. C# or Java).
Experience in the Financial Services industry (particularly in Fraud/Payments).
Proven diagnostic and debugging skills.
Problem solving skills.
Good documentation skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Good organisational/co-ordination skills.
Proactive work ethic, with the ability to deliver results and meet challenging deadlines.
Facilitates meetings effectively.

Desirable:

Quality assurance experience.
Background in functional testing with the ability to plan, design and execute test cases.
Data Analyst experience.
Operations experience as a Fraud Analyst.
