Fraud and Credit Analyst

Fraud and Credit Analyst - Urgently required for a 6 month contract with a leading financial services company based in Central London. Immediate starts and excellent rates.

We have an urgent requirement for 3 Fraud and Credit Analysts to join a busy fraud risk team within a cards environment. As the Fraud and Credit Analyst you will be responsible for conducting detailed fraud and basic credit risk assessments of merchants.

Other key responsibilities include:

* The implementation of risk mitigation measures in direct contact with the merchant.
* Completion of suspicious activity reports in accordance with regulatory and policy compliance.
* Take appropriate action in accordance with procedures and guidelines to minimise credit and fraud bad debts.
* Compliance issues identified and escalated as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Experience with Fraud risk management in a cards environment.
* Knowledge of credit risk indicators and credit reporting.
* Familiarity with other risk types including money laundering and compliance.
* Ability to work volumes accurately under pressure and to handle potentially confrontational situations on the telephone.
* Good working knowledge of MS Office products.
