Franchise Manager - Transport

My transport client is at an exciting stage of growth and is looking to add to their new structure with an experienced Franchise Manager.

ROLE PROFILE:

- To lead on all activities related to Train Operator franchises in Manchester.
- To manage the specification of requirements for new franchises and work with strategic partners on existing franchises.
- To manage the operations team to work in partnership with TOC's to deliver a high performing, customer focused service.
- To manage wider rail industry relationships including Train Operators and Rail Regulators
- Work with strategic partners to establish an effective management regime for the Franchise from April 2015
- Undertake appropriate Programme Management to ensure the delivery of all re-franchising timescales
- Manage the production of rail franchising specification and franchise agreement
- Undertake commercial management of key franchise agreements and other rail contracts and apply this to relationships with key stakeholders
- Manage the Rail Franchises that operate in Manchester
- Stakeholder management
- Line Management of the Rail Services Development Officer and Performance Officer
- Support the head of rail in key events planning meetings.

Required:

- To have performed a similar role within a large transport client
- Have worked with strategic partners in relation to franchising
- Strong project/Programme Management.
