Framework Design Analyst - Control, Front Office, Investment Bank

For this top tier investment bank we are looking for a Framework Design Analyst with strong Front Office control experience. The Controls Office in IB is a team that is responsible for coordinating all existing control elements into a consistent and logical model, and will ensure future developments in our business are integrated into this model. It forms part of Banks' increasing emphasis on maintaining and enhancing a robust and effective control framework, not just for meeting regulatory requirements, but to deliver upon the core values and promise to all of our stakeholders.

The Controls Office works closely with Front Office Risk and Controls, functionally aligned control teams and Group Governance and Controls, to deliver a seamless control framework across the organization with ownership shared by all. It maintains and enhances the principle that Controls and Governance is a key priority.

PURPOSE OF ROLE

Working within this cross functional team the successful candidate will take responsibility for understanding the Investment Bank (IB) policy environment, its alignment to the IB process taxonomy and work to enhance and develop the required set of consistent control standards. This work will support the embedding of the taxonomy through future end-to-end process reviews to be conducted across the IB asset classes. They will ensure that proposed and agreed changes to the Framework & Standards are executed in a rigorous manner.
