This is for an initial 3-6 months but is very likely to be extended.
FPGA Design Engineer/Digital Design/Hardware Design role:
This involves design of digital hardware including FPGA and PCB design and will also include some Embedded software design on 8/16/32 bit microcontrollers.
You will be designing FPGA using VHDL and performing the verification on this, as well as hardware debugging and bringing up boards.
The Embedded software development involves using C and Assembler, and you will also be working on documentation of the designs.
FPGA Design Engineer/Digital Design/Hardware Design key skills:
FPGA design in VHDL.
Writing Embedded software in C (and Assembler ideally)
Lab Test Equipment
Analogue circuit design desirable
Experience of system level debug and test
