Fostering Team Manager

The key functions of the role are:
*Panel adviser to Fostering Panel, which meets fortnightly.
*Occasional cover for Panel adviser to the Adoption and Permanence Panel
*Quality Assurance of Panel Reports
*Offering advice and guidance to assessing social workers
*Assisting in quality assurance tasks across the Fostering service
*Some project work in specific improvements in the service to meet the requirements for the forthcoming Ofsted Inspection
The post is based in London.
The post holder would report to the Service Manager, Fostering and Resources
It is PO5 level, although there is no direct staff management task.
We are looking for someone with some experience of working in a fostering setting and management experience.
In being Panel adviser, they will need to be able to work with Council members.
