Forensics Consultant

Montash have been engaged by a Global Consumer organisation to source and secure an experienced Forensics Consultant for a long term assignment. The Forensics Consultant will be building out the use cases and case example framework for the global investigation procedures. The Forensics will need a strong background within Computer Forensic Investigation, ideally with experience of presenting in court and building a legal case. Ideally the Forensics consultant will come from an Auditor background due to the high level of documentation involved with the role initially; building the use cases and the procedure documentation.

The Forensic consultant will have a high engagement withthe SOC (Security Operations Centre) and strong engagement/stakeholder management skills are key. Experience of working with/within a SOC would be highly preferred. The organisation are at the beginning of building out this framework and demonstrable experience and examples of frameworks and procedures will need to be provided to the client during the interview process.

Skills:

- Excellent Computer Forensics background
- Experience of building use cases and procedures for IT forensic examination
- Experience of working with highly regulated organisations; Police/Military/Banking/Consumer Goods
- Understanding of ISO processes from a Computer Forensics perspective
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- The role will involve a high level of travel and may require 5 days per week working away from home
