IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Set up Foreign Recruitment Office (define working processes, cooperation with project stakeholders, etc.)
-Develop recruitment strategy and process (from marketing and advertisement to contract signing)
-Organize and implement recruitment process for management and academic staff (key positions and supporting positions) from development of job descriptions, salary schemes and model contracts through posting of job offers, evaluation of job applications to pre-selection, interviewing and contracting of candidates
-Support the Kuwaiti project partner in the development of marketing material for recruitment
-Support the Kuwaiti project partner in administrative processes for preparing stay of international staff in Kuwait (visum, housing, schooling, etc.)
-Support preparation of Welcome Package and welcome events for international staff (based on existing University Service Portfolio document);
-Train staff of TUM Kuwait Human Resources unit before their commencement of work; - Coordinate recruitment activities with any other university-related activity if and where required (e.g. health center/ university hospital, technology transfer center)

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Sound experience with the recruitment of international academic or vocational training staff
-Effective network with contacts to international academic or vocational training staff
-Management experience with international teams would be an asset
-At least master degree
-Structured and solution-oriented working method
-Collaborative skills and openness, intercultural competence
-Fluency in English
-Arabic language skills or professional working experience in Arab countries would be an asset
