Our Client a leading Food and Drinks Manufacturing Company are looking for a Forecast analyst for a six month temporary position

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To manage the operational forecast ensuring it reflects the business intent as accurately as possible.
- Be a point of liaison between the Sales, Sales Operations and Factory Planning teams to help manage the capacity and availability challenges.
- Using a statistical forecast package - SAP APO DP - to manage and communicate the expected sales volumes at the detailed level
- Working with the relevant National Account Manager's to create an operational forecast verifying their base and promotion volume assumptions
- Review, identify and resolve key forecast accuracy issues
- Communicate the forecast to the Factory Planning teams & work with them to resolve specific forecast and/or capacity issues
- Review, approve & maintain promotional volumes
- Run relevant reports to help identify and react to significant deviations of orders from the demand plan, amending the forecast accordingly
- Ensure Demand Planning process is effective and delivering the right information across the business
- Fulfilling all relevant stakeholders requirements
- Contribute to achieving excellent customer service through liaison with Sales Operations, Sales Account Management and Factory and Logistics planning teams in short and medium term
- Responsible for maintenance of accurate master data within the forecast system

KEY SKILLS

- A driving license as there will be some travel to our UK sites
- Knowledge of Manufacturing supply chains
- Knowledge of SAP is desirable
- Intermediate to advanced level of Excel
- Experience of FMCG & Food Manufacturing
- Sales Order Processing
- Production planning
- Supply chain planning
- Experience of Demand Planning processes
- High level of numeracy with the ability to understand trends and patterns within numbers
- Confidence in computer software use, particularly in MS Excel and stock control or order processing systems
- Confident written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to mange changing information and priorities
- Building and maintain effective relationships with main contacts on Production Planning and Sales Management and Sales Administration
- Ability to interpret large volumes of data from multiple sources to identify key issues and options for improvement
