JOB DESCRIPTION

An outstanding 11-18 Co-Ed RC School located in North East London are looking to appoint an enthusiastic qualified FOOD & TEXTILES TEACHER to teach across KEY STAGES 3 -5.

This is a PERMANENT role STARTING in SEPTEMBER and is a fantastic opportunity for a proficient Food & Textiles teacher to join a highly professional, dedicated and supportive team. The school is looking for a strong Food Technology teacher (full time position) with excellent subject knowledge and willingness to learn and progress.

DEPARTMENT INFORMATION

The Department offers BTEC Home Cooking Skills, GCSE Food Technology and Child Development and Food Technology and Health & Social Care at A level.

The HE department achieves outstanding results at Key Stage 3, GCSE and A level and all classes are taught in mixed ability groups from Year 7 onwards.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

The successful applicant will be expected to teach Food and Textiles from KS3 to KS5.

The school is happy to receive applications from newly qualified teachers as well as from teachers with more experience. Overseas trained teachers are also welcome to apply to this post. All applicants must have UK QTS or an OVERSEAS FORMAL SECONDARY SCHOOL TEACHING QUALIFICATION.
