FM Consultant - Building Estates

Seeking candidate to lead/provide direct operational management support aimed at driving significant service change/improvement through the delivery of greater value (from the supply chain), improved response and customer focus/care related to a building repairs and maintenance service covering reactive/emergency works, planned minor works and larger project/programme based works across a highly varied/complex property asset base in commercial, public service and education sectors.  

Candidates should possess a proven ability to manage a building repairs & maintenance services team responsible for works specification/planning (by an in-house professional/technical surveying team), competitively sourcing and quality assuring works through selected Tier #1 &/or Tier #2 sub-contractors. Ideally, candidates should also be familiar with the latest cross industry trends an successful practice in relation to R&M service strategy, specification, procurement and contracting.

Candidates should possess considerable building repairs & maintenance experience weighted towards the broad commercial sector (Not just housing), strong operational management of works/project services delivery, complex customer/corporate stakeholder relationships, service change and improvement whilst achieving consistently high standards of service performance, customer care and statutory compliance

Looking for suitable resources at earliest, for an engagement likely to run over next 3-6 months and based in the Midlands. Initial 1-2 month contract.
