Flow Metre Technician

My client has a vacancy for a Flow Metre Technician to work across the Midlands. The work is expected to start sometime in March. The role will initially be for 3 months but could extend to 12 months. The role will involve travel and will be 40hrs per week minimum.

Role -
An experienced Flow Meter/Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, modify and repair as appropriate, Pressure Meters, Flow Meters, Probes, Antennas, battery packs, undertake loop checks and investigate SCADA faults, flow meters manufactures will include but not limited to ABB, Krohne, Fischer

Asset Surveys

Commissioning of new meters
Flow Meter Fault Finding

HNC in an ICA related discipline
Practical knowledge of Fault Finding and Investigation
Practical knowledge of the installation and set-up of Flow Meters
Work under own initiative with minimum supervision
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
Good Overall IT Skills (Excel essential). Driving License essential

Valid Confined Spaces (NC2) Certificate and National Hygiene Card desirable but not essential
