Flight Simulator Engineer (RAF Valley)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Flight Simulator Engineer to join Thales at RAF Valley working on the Sea King Simulator

You will primarily support the training service by providing a diagnostic and rectification service to the simulator in liaison with the customers. You will also carry out preventative maintenance to ensure that the simulators are maintained to the required standard. The team of simulator engineers are based on site to be able to quickly react to issues that affect the training of aircrew using the simulators and training equipment on site.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

Assist in analysing, diagnosing and correcting problems on the simulators and associated hardware
Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) tasks on the simulators and associated hardware
Complete all designated training activities
Perform administrative tasks as required
Be proficient in IT skills to utilise specific computer systems
Two-way communication with customer with regard to issues with the simulators.
