At a Glance

Do you get a buzz from selling and are you up for a challenge­ In this role you will be responsible for devising and developing the local flight programme, pricing, promoting and selling flight seats, along with managing performance and undertaking the necessary administration duties.

What You'll Be Doing

Customer:
- Drive customer satisfaction by taking a proactive & innovative approach to service, making sure that delivery is tailored to ensure every customer feels like an individual.
- Ensure our customers feel special through the delivery of a professional service which will generate repeat business.
- Impact positively on company/brand perception by ensuring that an appropriate and consistent service is delivered at every customer touch-point.
- Build rapport with and get to know our customers and agents.
- Support the 24-7 operation (including on-call rota) to ensure that service provided to our customers is seamless & consistent regardless of the time of day.

Adding Value:
- Devise availability lists and relevant special offers to promote to the public and Agents.
- Price flight seats to ensure that optimum revenue and sales are achieved whilst monitoring the rate of sale and competitors' prices.
- Investigate and implement new and creative ideas to generate revenue, gain repeat customers and improve service.
- Actively promote relevant ancillary products to enhance the customer experience, add value and increase revenue.
- Promote flight seats to the general public through the delivery of flyers, networking with local businesses, schools, and groups, email communications, Facebook etc. Actively seek out new customers and agents.
- Be the local expert and support colleagues on all matters relating to Flight Seat Sales.

Playing to Win:
- Achieve stretching revenue targets without compromising the service to our customers.
- Manage performance and take action to ensure that targets are achieved.
- Develop and maintain effective external relationships and negotiate with key customers, suppliers and Agents. Actively seek feedback with a view to improving sales and service.
- Take accountability for the customers, ensuring that all services provided are correct and delivered as booked.
- Ensure that required reports & paperwork are delivered with a high level of accuracy and within deadline.

Leadership:
- Represent TUI Travel brands in a professional manner at all times and ensure your behaviour complies with our organisation values and company policies.
- Contribute and assist in our drive to deliver holiday experiences, throughout the world, whilst minimising any negative impact on the planet and the people & cultures within it.

What We're Looking For
- Track record in a target driven sales role (telesales/face to face)
- Experience in yield (pricing, stock management etc)
- Previous experience of delivering a high level of customer service.
- Experience in promotion, marketing or advertising
- Sophisticated sales ability.
- Excellent standard of verbal and written communication skills.
- Commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Flexible and adaptable, responding to customer and company needs.
- Strives to deliver high performance.
- Prioritisation and organisational skills.
- Ability to work within a team or independently using initiative when required.
- Manages internal and external relationships.
- IT / systems applications (including MS Office, Excel, Word, email, and reservations)
- Local language an advantage
- Minimum age of 18 years due to critical business reasons whilst working overseas e.g. Local law requirements
