We are looking for a strong Flex/RIA Developer to work within a highly motivated team working on major project work. This role will sit within a leading Investment Bank in London (City-based). The team works in close partnership with the business to deliver e-commerce applications. This assignment involves complete front to back development, consisting of rich Flex user interface modules,that work alongside Java web tier and Java server backend.

The role will require the following skills, experience and qualifications:
•Good knowledge and experience in object oriented analysis, design and implementation with Java
•Good knowledge and experience working with Adobe/Apache Flex.
•Experience and knowledge of working with Parsley, Cairngorm frameworks etc.
•Very good knowledge and experience using web technologies (AJAX, JavaScript, CSS).
•Practical experience using JavaScript Frameworks (especially ExtJS) a bonus.
•Good knowledge and experience integrating with Tomcat, Apache
•Experience working in an Agile development environment.
•Experience working with Subversion and Maven2 desirable
•Knowledge and/or experience of working with HTML5 would be desirable

The role requires an excellent command in building modern e-commerce applications. It is essential that the successful candidate can quickly establish the confidence and trust of internal clients through supporting successful delivery of projects and analysis.
