Fixed Income Product Manager

Currently my client is expanding the capabilities of their products in several new areas. With this rapid expansion, they are in high need of a Product Manager with a software development background. The key initiative of this position is to help drive product design, development and market demand of these expanding products. As the Product Manager you will work across modules (workbench, modeler, blotter, compliance, etc) and instrument types (fixed income, equity, derivatives, etc) and handle the technical aspects of the product. In this position you will interface with clients, the sales team and market participants to understand and design products and processes. Other responsibilities of this position will range from performing market analysis and building product plans, creating functional specifications and reviews with relevant parties, demonstrate prototypes to interested parties prepare product literature and finally speak at public events or author industry articles. Requirements: * BS Computer Science or related field * 10+ years of related experience * Specific knowledge of the investments industry * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication skills; good interpersonal skills * Strong contributor with high motivation Technical Experience: * Experience in product management or systems analysis * Developed multi-tier financial applications * Proven skills in managing development of similar products * Hands-on experience with coding, architecture and tech design Contact: Chris Woolston.
