Fixed Income Product Controller

A leading investment bank is currently seeking a Structured Rates Product Controller to work within the team supporting activity traded out of London, Asia and Toronto on a six month contract.

Responsibilities will include providing an effective link between Front Office (FO) and Financial Control, bringing specialist product knowledge into the arena, so that any disagreements in daily P+L are resolved in a timely manner and ultimate agreement with FO is achieved, logged and evidenced.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Strong interest rate derivative productpreferably part of fully qualified
- Excellent numerical skills with the ability to problem solve in a logical manner
- Excellent communication skills especially with Front Office members
- Capable of working within tight deadlines & under severe time pressure.
- Effective in allocating priorities.
- Strong ability to convert theory into practice.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel & Access
