Fixed Asset Manager/Accountant

FIXED ASSET ACCOUNTANT/MANAGER - CONTRACT - MAIDENHEAD

Project People are currently recruiting for an experienced Fixed Asset Accountant with team management experience for an ongoing contract in Maidenhead. We are looking for a Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or QBE Accountant with strong Fixed Asset accounting, experience in maintaining the fixed asset register for a large number of construction based projects. The projects will be high volume (432 projects) and high value (£400m). We are looking for someone who has worked at this level within fixed assets - a large corporate background in construction, telecoms or utilities etc. would be ideal.

Along with managing the fixed assets register and undertaking the month/year end reporting and audits, you will also be managing a team of 3 Accountants - managing and checking their work, and acting as the point of contact for all queries.

My client are a large well known communications company, they are looking for someone to start ASAP for this ongoing contract, you will need to have a solid Fixed Assets background within a relevant industry and will need to come in and hit the ground running.
