Fixed Asset Accountant - Part time Job

FIXED ASSETS ACCOUNTANT (PART TIME) needed for a 6 month plus CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- part time contractor, approximately 20-30 hours/week needed to support the FIXED ASSETS DEPARTMENT WITHIN CORPORATE ACCOUNTING; includes performing month-end account analysis, reconciliations, journal entry posting, and ad-hoc reporting needs.
- Fixed Assets Accountant will process fixed asset additions, disposals, transfers and other requirements in a timely manner.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Understanding of U.S. GAAP REQUIREMENTS FOR FIXED ASSETS
- Experience with JD Edwards (or equivalent ERP system)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Strong communication, problem solving and collaboration skills
- Education: Bachelor's degree or pursuing a degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent field
