Fixed Asset Accountant - Fixed Asset reporting, Fixed Asset Register - Contract Work

Project People are currently recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing company near Reading for a Fixed Asset Accountant. This is initially a contract opportunity with a view to becoming permanent for the right person.

As Fixed Asset Accountant you will be responsible for supporting the finance team in the management and reporting of all fixed assets. Control of fixed assets is a crucial component of my clients' organisation. This is a very busy role, my client has a large number of fixed assets all across the UK which is why they require someone specifically to focus on this area.

Fixed Asset Accountant 

Responsibilities:
- Manage the asset register, including reporting requests from shareholders
- Ensure that the process for both additions and disposals are defined and delivered
- Manage the monthly FA accounting and reporting (including reconciliations)
- Take ownership of fixed assets KPIs
- Coordinate and manage relevant admin, including site information uploads

Essential Qualities:
- High attention to detail
- Experience working in a similar fixed assets position dealing with a large number of FAs
- Proficient in MS Office including Excel
- Qualified, Part-qualified and QBE considered
