Fix Onboarding

Our client, a financial services firm in Midtown NYC is currently looking for a full time, permanent employee to join their technical team, in a FIX support capacity. In this role, you will be responsible for the implementation and onboarding of FIX clients and vendors for various trading businesses on platforms covering Asia, South Africa and the European overnight business; and. You will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with the business to discuss and analyse business solutions and issues.

Ideally you will have:
* Experience with FIX connectivity, knowledge of the FIX protocol / engines
* Knowledge of the trading lifecycle
* Self-motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Good communication skills along with a strong passion for client service
* Experience in system operational support particularly in front/middle office, custom-built and vendor packages
* The ability to work effectively within local and distributed teams
* The ability to work well under pressure to provide timely and accurate solutions to systems problems
