FIX Deployment and Testing - Client Connectivity - Banking - New York

Hatstand is currently looking for a FIX Specialist (Deployment and Testing) to join a major investment bank. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to leverage their IT and business skills and work with business analysts, support and development to ensure a high quality service. You will be part of a specialist team to manage the on-boarding process of FIX testing and deployment. The technology covers electronic order capture, single orders, Lists, Algorithmic Trading, ETD, Options, FX, DMA, Allocations and IOI.

You will have detailed trading knowledge with various exchanges and experience in dealing with electronic trading, FIX infrastructure, OMS, market data feeds, algorithmic trading, and exchange linkages technologies.

Requirements
*Linux
*FIX knowledge (3 years minimum)
*Oracle database PL/SQL skills
*Regular XP skills
*Understanding of Trade Life Cycle/Knowledge of market, market data, order & execution, etc.
*Knowledge of networking
*Experience in working with various trading platforms: eg LAVA, NYFIX, Sungard, Bloomberg, Macgregor, Ezecastle
*Perl & Shell programming/Scripting skills
*Tibco/Rendzous messaging technology
