FIX Specialist

A global investment bank, downtown NYC, is currently looking to hire a Fix On-boarding specialist. You will be required to interact with different internal groups, including development, traders, operations etc; as well as external vendors and clients. Therefore, excellent communication skills are a must. Also, Series 7, 3 and 63 is very helpful, along with good Financial Information Exchange (FIX) experience. This is a full time, permanent role. Salary is approx 120-150k on the base. No relocation assistance is available, and you must currently be residing in North America to apply.

You will be responsible for providing Level 1 and 2 Support (First and Second line) for the clients and traders on the Futures and Options market, so good understanding of Support and Troubleshooting is necessary. Previous certification and onboarding experience is helpful, as you will be responsible for setting up and managing all electronic client set-ups from network connectivity, ORE config etc.This This will be for DMA, Algo, Dropcopy, FIX Allocations and Worked Order flow, from UAT all the way through to production. This will involve placing production orders into the market to confirm client config is good, to avoid go-live issues for the client.
