First and Second Level Supporter

First and Second Level Supporter with profound UNIX and SQL knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.

YOUR EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:

- 3+ years' experience in a First and Second Level Support role with relational DB and writing SQL queries in Oracle and Microsoft SQL, ideally in a finance-related area
- Profound knowledge of UNIX, especially handling files, searching logs and checking processes
- Expertise in working with SPLUNK and analysing Stack Traces
- Certification in ITIL, coupled with knowledge of UML, JAVA, Eclipse and other similar IDE are desirable
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken

YOUR TASKS:

- Providing day-to-day Production Support on a wide variety of incidents and requests
- Investigating complex problems involving multiple systems
- Leading through major incidents by helping to engage other teams and driving resolution of incidents having major impact
- Acting as a key stakeholder within development projects to ensure quality within software delivery and onboarding of knowledge from Application Development teams
- Managing communication with internal clients and other IT teams
