This is a test/verification role. you will need to be able to understand application level code such as C# or C++ and understand the schematics around a hardware diagram.
You will be writing these tests to verify/regress the firmware that controls their products.
Skills
Scripting tools, C# Or C++
Ability to write automated test scripts to validate hardware and firmware
experience of looking at schematic diagrams
verification of firmware written in Embedded C which runs on an RTOS
