Roc Search is currently recruiting for a Firmware Engineer based in Leixlip, Ireland.
As a Firmware Engineer, you will play an integral role in being responsible for supporting Architecture in defining the set of firmware deliverables for the new products and how they fit in the overall software stack as well as also designing, implementing and testing own deliverables to the project to ensure the design will achieve right-first-time silicon in high volume production.
Responsibilities include:
*C programming,
*low level device driver implementation,
*x86 and/or other CPU architecture knowledge.
*Assembly programming experience,
*low speed I/O interface (SPI, I2C, I2S, UART) familiarity
*technical leadership within firmware developers team
*Hons. Bachelors/Masters in Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
*Experience in Microcontroller programming and bare-metal execution environments.
Desired Experience
*Capable of leading junior resources through implementation and test phases through support and mentoring
Duration: 3 months+
Rate: Market Rate
