Firmware Engineer

For this contract position with the leading computer components brand, you will be developing firmware for Embedded controllers in chipsets with focus on Workstation platforms.

This involves development, test, and integration with other Embedded components such as BIOS.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Solid C programming skills
- System level debug experience; ability to resolve issues and narrow down root-cause to relevant components
- Ability to work with firmware running in a Real Time multithreaded operating system environment
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a comparable field

PREFERRED SKILLS:

- Hands-on experience with firmware development
- Experience with PC architecture
- High comfort level using Perforce Source Control system for code checkins, branch merges, etc.
