Firmware Developer (Bluetooth)

Yoh has a long-term contract position for a FIRMWARE DEVELOPER - BLUETOOTH to join our client in San Jose, CA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The Firmware Developer will focus on low level SW like drivers for Bluetooth and related technologies.
- Routinely work with Software Architect to define SW modules.
- The Firmware Developer will also focus on developing Linux drivers or services for BlueZ, Bluetooth/BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).
- Firmware Developer will also load the drivers on Software Development vehicle and test required functionalities.
- Produce supporting documentation like specification, test plan.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum three (3) plus years Embedded/Firmware Development experience
- Understanding of BlueZ technology
- Understanding of Bluetooth/BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) protocols
- Basic Embedded FW/SW on Microcontroller development experience
- Programming experience in C/C++
- Programming experience with Linux drivers

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- Experience BlueZ or Bluetooth Low Energy Technology
