Financial Systems Project Manager Job

FINANCIAL SYSTEMS PROJECT MANAGER needed for a LONG-TERM CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chesapeake, VA.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS POSITION DOES NOT ALLOW FOR WORKING REMOTELY, AS SUCH THE INCUMBENT MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ONSITE IN CLIENT'S CHESAPEAKE, VA LOCATION.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Five or more (5+) years of PM experience in large enterprise environment
- Experience managing projects related to integration of financial systems
- Extremely strong English communication skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- This client recently acquired a very large competitor and this project is related to the merger of these two organizations.
- The client is integrating many systems from the acquired company in to their current technical environment including financial systems/applications, Supply Chain systems/applications, Distribution systems/applications, POS, Purchasing, etc.
- This position is a contract position for a Project Manager to assist in the integration specifically of the Financial Systems/Applications.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Four or more (4+) years of experience with Project Management.
- PMP Preferred
- Four or more (4+) years of experience working with MS Project and project planning.
- Need to have exceptional communication and organization skills
- Two or more (2+) years of experience working within a retail environment.
- Experience working with projects in the financial space and financial systems

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- PMP certification
- Experience with Lawson ERP, Ariba, or Oracle EBS strongly desired
- Experience working with projects in the distribution space and warehouse management systems such as Manhattan.
- Experience with inventory management systems such as JDA Allocation and Replenishment.
