Financial Systems Accountant GL, Oracle, Misys, T24, SAP

Global Financial are looking for a financial system accountant (Oracle, Misys, SAP, T24, GL) to provide advice and expertise to implement major finance systems and finance transformation initiatives. Projects include the review of existing functions, systems and technical environments as well as the recommendation and implementation of new strategies, platforms, architectures and road-maps to improve performance, efficiency, functionality and costs. You will have Significant experience of finance systems, finance transformation initiatives and FS processes including:

Finance systems architecture

Systems migration and implementation

General ledger strategy

Regulatory, statutory and management reporting

Finance, risk and treasury integration

Product accounting solutions

Finance operating model design and implementation

Integration of finance, risk & treasury solutions

Core finance ledger and Banking sub=ledger

Information management and BI

Exposure to wholesale banking processes, reporting and systems knowledge around one or more product areas such as call and current accounts, commercial loans and credit products, FX products and one or more functional areas such as credit risk, finance, payments. knowledge and experience of accounting (IFRS), compliance, FS controls and reports, such as regulatory, statutory and management reporting. Knowledge of at least one/two FS system application, including Misys, Temenos, Oracle, SAP is required.
