North of Boston, off of the red line, there is a growing financial software house that specializes in mission critical software solutions for investment banks. They are aggressively searching for bright ambitious developers to join there team. There are no formalized job descriptions because you may be called upon to do just about anything from being a team lead, an individual star developer and all they way up to facing off with a senior executive of a major Wall Street broker. They are however looking for those who are technically adept and can master the Wall Street functional domain. The major skills I am looking for are:

Development: Java, C#, .Net, Python

Database: Oracle, SQL, Sybase

Application Architecture: XML, Soap, Spring

Project Management: Agile, RAD, SDLC
