Financial Services Risk Consultant

£450 per day Our client, a well respected national professional services firm is looking to meet increased client demand by adding experienced Risk Consultants to provide specialist insight into the areas of Banking, Insurance, Life & Pensions and Investment Management for an extensive portfolio of external and internal audit clients.Your responsibilities:*Work as part of a team or autonomously as required, to deliver high quality outputs to the clients specification within the agreed timescales*Provide professional consulting advice to a wide ranging portfolio of clients by mitigating their risk exposure across Internal Audit, IT Risk, Tax and Compliance functions*Evaluation of existing control framework and risk exposure and design and implementation of methodologies to mitigate these risks.*Responsible for building and maintaining good internal, external and industry contact working relationships *Support proposals for new projects and client opportunities.About you:*Ideally you will possess a relevant professional qualification *Previous Financial Services experience in a consulting capacity with focus on one or more of the following: Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, Investment Management, General Insurance*You will have significant experience in one or more of the following areas: Internal Audit, Risk Management, Compliance, Tax, Regulatory and/or IT Security *Excellent senior stakeholder management and relationship management skills. *Proven track record of producing high quality deliverables in a project environment*Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsShould you be interested in this role, please indicate if you have the flexibility to travel nationally or if you have a preference to work locally.
