POSITION DESCRIPTION:

SunGard's asset management solutions help institutional investors, hedge funds, private equity firms, fund administrators and securities transfer agents improve both investment decision-making and operational efficiency, while managing risk and increasing transparency. SunGard's solutions support every stage of the investment process, from research and portfolio management, to valuation, risk management, compliance, investment accounting, transfer agency and client reporting.
An opportunity for a Graduate calibre individual, with a keen interest in finance and financial products to join the SunGard APT team. The holder of this post will be primarily responsible for running, building, testing and ensuring cutting edge risk models are produced for customers in a timely manner. The post holder will also carry out market data duties and therefore they must be organised and methodical in their approach. This is an excellent opportunity for a Graduate to utilise their finance skills in the work place and enter the financial market.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Skills Required:
* A graduate or under graduate with a mathematical background relevant to mathematical and statistical application
* An avid interest in finance
* Microsoft application skills, Excel
* Familiarity with all windows office application
* A methodical individual with excellent attention to detail
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Able to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Must be able to think through and resolve problems logically and independently
* Creative with eagerness to learn, share knowledge and improve
* Knowledge of financial products
